Public Health Alliance for Genomic Epidemiology (PHA4GE) is proud to announce the appointment of three new chairs to lead the Bioinformatics Pipelines and Data Visualization Working Group. This development signals a significant stride in our commitment to advancing genomic research and bioinformatics in public health.
The newly appointed chairs, Emily Smith, Gültekin Ünal, and Victoria Dyster, bring a wealth of expertise and innovation to their roles. Their collective experience spans diverse aspects of bioinformatics, from data visualization to pipeline development, positioning the working group for even greater achievements. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank Jamie Southgate and Kevin Libuit for their services to the Working Group as outgoing Chairs and the incredible progress made so far.
With the ever-evolving landscape of genomics and public health, these appointments underscore PHA4GE’s dedication to establish access to flexible, sustainable bioinformatics capacity. The Bioinformatics Pipelines and Data Visualization Working Group plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of genomic epidemiology, and the new chairs are well-equipped to drive innovation in this critical field.
Stay tuned for upcoming initiatives, projects, and collaborative opportunities under the guidance of our three dynamic new chairs.
