ABPHM 2023: Highlights

The 9th edition of the Applied Bioinformatics and Public Health Microbiology (ABPHM) Conference 2023 organised and funded by Wellcome Connecting Science, was an outstanding gathering that brought together professionals from the microbiology, bioinformatics, and public health communities. Held in Hinxton, Cambridge, this highly anticipated event lived up to its reputation as the  “everyone’s there” conference for individuals seeking to explore the latest advancements in addressing public health needs through microbial and viral genomics, bioinformatics, data science, and sequencing technologies. In this article, we will highlight some of the key moments and insights from the ABPHM Conference, where over 20 PHA4GE members had the opportunity to connect, learn and share knowledge.
