PHA4GE is grateful for the seed funding provided by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, which played a pivotal role in catalysing the establishment of a global coalition dedicated to strengthening public health systems worldwide.
Since October 2019, PHA4GE has brought together a growing network of over 700 academics and public health practitioners who contribute their time and expertise on a voluntary basis. Together, they support the development of evidence-based best practices, standards, and analytical solutions aimed at improving coordination and effectiveness in global responses to disease outbreaks and public health emergencies.
We highly value the strategic partnerships formed between PHA4GE and a diverse range of international institutions, funders, and collaborators. These partnerships are essential to advancing our mission and ensuring that our work remains rigorous, inclusive, and globally relevant. A selection of our current and past partners is listed below.
While PHA4GE’s initial focus has been on human health, we recognise the opportunity to contribute to broader areas of global health and resilience through one health initiatives. Through continued collaboration and sustainable partnerships, we aim to expand our impact and support a more integrated, coordinated approach to global health challenges.
PHA4GE works with partners who share our commitment to improving coordination, data-driven decision-making, and preparedness for disease outbreaks. We invite organisations, institutions, and funders to connect with us and help shape the future of global public health.
